First of all you would do well to include an indication of what you have. The system is so good I believe Porsche dropped it from the GTS [someone correct me if I am wrong].

The easiest and cheapest solution to your problem unless you are **** about originality is to stick a jumper over the appropriate contacts that that tell your computer that all is well.

To be fair these things seem to suffer more issues in hot climates as in where I live in that to get the warning out you have to run at what seem like silly high pressures. I think this system is about as much use as a chocolate fireguard- others may disagree. I disarmed mine on my late S4 about a year after I purchased it 13 years ago.

Short of that you have some very capable sources offered Stateside, no idea if the likes of Paul carries such in the UK but doubtless he can source them.

Good luck

Fred

Hi I have an 88 S4, 48000 miles and everything works perfectly bar the tyre system. I would rather fix the sensor as it worked before the wheel refurb and I know the problem. As for it not being useful it did actually alert me to a slow puncture (a nail) in one of the rear tyres, which I managed to sort instead of walking out to a flat tyre.
I did call some of these sources in the U.K. And was met with total disinterest, hence the reason for this post.

Here's a closeup of a 2.5 bar RDK sensor for the front wheels:

Another showing the 2.5 bar sensors (tan) and 3 bar (black). Be sure to order a replacement o-ring:

I see 928 International is selling used front and rear RDK sensors.

If you're in a hurry FedEx could be knocking on your door in a couple of days...

PS are you sure your MY is 88? RDK came in with digidash 89 onwards

Seriously! new is mega $$$ at $480 each.
Mark at 928 International has the best deal and he gives you a warranty.
Make sure you ask him for the O ring as well.
