Default 928 Parts Uk

This one is for U.K. Owners. Where do you buy your 928 parts. I need a new wheel sensor for the puncture system as it is the only thing not working properly on my car. I have found quite a few people/ companies quite uninterested in helping.

For a used part, contact Paul Anderson of 928spares in Stroud, or Simon Watson.

For new, as above, lots in the UK use Roger, as even with the customs and VAT its still well priced.

That may actually explain my problem. I need a front one. I had the wheels refurbed and one of the sensors did not survive. I did actually buy one at great expense and after waiting a long time, it was fitted but never worked. I was so pissed with them and waiting so long I lived with it. I'm starting to think they fitted a rear one. I will buy from you on Monday.

P.s forgive my ignorance who is Roger?

Good question, never tried that. You should be able to remove the wheel and see the value of the sensor wihtout removing the tire

Well you'll fInd more uk owners on the 928uk list (join via the 928.org.uk site)

I source my parts from mix of (in order of share of wallet):

The excellent US specialists Roger/928sRus, 928 International (superb online catalogue and watch for the used sales), 928 Specialists

Watching brief on eBay UK. Look out for sellers like MBS Parts who acquire brand new stock being cleared by official dealers

Official dealers themselves. So when a good part comes up on eBay, I will usually compare with US suppliers and UK price from Porsche. Sometimes I'm in an undignified hurry so go straight to Porsche. You may be surprised - they are usually cheaper than other UK Porsche specialists. Go figure as they say.

Hi Adrian

I do almost precisely the same as you.... lol

Sometimes the Porsche dealer if I am in a rush, sometimes Ebay , sometimes Roger, etc.... sometimes Paul Anderson.

All the best Brett
