What lift are you getting. With the side pull Liftmaster it appears you will be adding a lift. They are great openers...very quiet and an automatic lock once down. Temp gauge on the touchpad is also cool.

Very nice! I am almost ready to break ground on my 16x24 deep. I do not have a big yard... going with a direct lift two post. You must be stoked. I would also be interested on what you did to the floor.

Looks like it's going to be a fun place to hang.
Love the 28. Great year. Love the pre-S4 cars. An '86.5 and '95 sharing space with my '82...I'd be a fulfilled man.

Thanks for the kind thoughts. I am pretty stoked.
I haven't done anything to the floor yet. The guy who poured it put a "densifier(?)" on it and hand finished it. I think I am just going to put a matte finish sealant on it and be done with it. I was thinking of epoxy, but access to the street is through a gravel right of way shared with a neighbor who is unlikely to spring for paving, so I fear epoxy will get chewed up.
Lift - I am going to put in a two post lift - either a used Rotary or a new Dannmar. She Who Must Be Obeyed is in the tire business and her employer only uses Rotary in their shops. Any lift that goes in will have to be either a Rotary or an ALI certified lift. New Rotary lifts are pricey and good used ones aren't easy to find.
