Default 3 Pc Wheels & Tires SOLD

BW Motorsports Turbo 3 Piece Wheels – 18x9” Front, 18x10.5” Rear, Michelin Sport Cup Tires- Front 265/35, Rear 295/30

Got them from Mark Anderson shipped for $1500 a few months ago to autocross with. Was a little optimistic about how my foot was healing. Not going to be able to autocross for at least another year. Need the money to help cover the growing medical bills on my foot.

In the picture above Mark said it looked like the inner fender lip was rolled. Before I bought them Rob Edwards went by Mark's, they put them on his GTS and he drove around without any issues. Because of my foot I have not mounted the wheels and tires on my GTS. Looks to me like this is about the maximum width of wheels and tires that will go on a 928 with stock fenders.

Would like to get $1500 shipped.

That is a screaming deal! I wish I didn't have about 5 sets too many in the basement, I'd add these quickly.

Hope the foot is getting better.

I'm wondering if these will fit an 84 US spec.

Here is Mark White's car at 2012 OCIC.

These are the same wheels i.e.., BW Motorsports 3 pc Turbos, but not the same set of wheels.

Correct, I sold those to Marc back in 2002.

If memory serves me correctly the set you have for sale were originally mine. I had them on my 85 Euro and sold them to Rob around 2004.

If it helps I am pretty sure the offsets are 67mm front and 54mm rear.

Brings back a lot of memories!!

That is a smoking deal and best of luck with the sale, would love to have those back!!

Cheers,

Dave

Certainly a smoking deal. Which, of course, appeared shortly after I bought a second set of wheels.... I don't think I could convince the CFO that I need "summer" wheels, "winter" wheels and "spring and fall" wheels.

I had very similar wheels at one time before cracking a center section while unknowingly driving on a flat tire in Baltimore. Ouch. Still hoping to get that replaced. They are insanely light. Several companies made very similar looking wheels. These appear to be the same as mine as the 40 bolts holding the pieces together are rusting, just like mine did! 6 hours later with a dremel...

The bolts AND nuts on these wheels are a gunmetal gray not silver, and NOT rusted or do they have have any signs of rust on them at all.

Cool! Mine were a giant PITA to clean up. Apparently if the bolts are ever torqued the clear coat on them comes off and they rust.
