No affiliation, but for someone looking for parts this could be ok. Needs computers.

I saw this ad today. I have met the owner previously. He donated some trim pcs from a parts car on the 83, back in the day. Good guy. At that time he had a 917 replica that he raced.
This car may have seen some track time.
If someone had an extra computer I would be glad to check out the story and get more pics.
Or you could give me a computer and float me a loan until the first of the year.......,LOL

I checked this out over the weekend for another "lister" that is taking a pass.
For the right person this would be a good buy.

Body is rust free and straight with one small exception on the passenger rear qtr. (pictured)

Interior is rough but dash and pod are better than a few I have owned. Just needs a lot of cleaning and then figure out what needs replaced. I would start with carpet and seats.

Wheels are sharp and in good/great condition. Tires are dry-rotted.

Car originally Guards Red, odometer reads 90,@@@.

Seller is a reputable local guy, very active in PCA, licensed instructor , blah blah blah

If it were a 5 SP I would have sold something to buy it and sit on it for a while.

No doubt, Tony.

I think that was from the ad when the car lived in Hollywood Fl.
Current owner bought it for the wheels, drove it from Fl to TN then had the computer go out. It has been parked in his yard every since.

Wheels and tires are stacked in his garage next to a sweet 930 and a 1980 928 with a Euro competition package. Interesting guy, I enjoyed the visit.
