Im just coming above water now after some family stuff I had to take care of ni TX for a # of weeks.
Im 100% gonna make it, but I likely wont be driving down, but flying.
If anyone from the SF Bay Area wants to fly down with me, let me know, I have room for 2 people with bags..or three small people and NO bags..

Tech session is planned.
"Sharktuning Magic"
Featuring Jim Corenman....the master of all things Sharktuning and Sharkplotting. Assisted by Rob Edwards and Greg Brown.
The "Victim" vehicle: "The Mobile 928 Bar"
This should be really interesting and really informative. We are going to install some PEMs into Randy's car and then Sharktune it, using Sharkplotter.
The really fun part is that we will be following the entire tuning session on a big screen TV. We will be able to watch, real time, as the car is driven and tuned, as we drink the beverages that Randy prepared for us....in the comfort of 928 International's shop! Yes, remote, real time data transfer!
We will be able to see the logging and any changes that are made, on the road. Jim will then use his Sharkplotter program to make whatever changes are necessary to improve the engine, as we watch.
We may even be able to get a before and after dyno! (I'm working on this.)
More fun than one group of "928 geeks" should be ever allowed to have, at one time!

It's not magic, just computers...
Of course getting a computer to do something useful seems like magic, most times...
What? You're not going to be there?
We can probably capture whatever is on the "big screen", with audio-- but getting from there to something useful is going to require some help.

I am driving from Sacramento, and leaving Friday AM. Does anyone along the way want to meet up and cruise together? I have to drop my wife off in Pomona before going to the event but I thought it would be fun to get a few 928s together for the ride to help pass the time.

Just reserved 2 rooms, getting excited now. Looking forward to seeing everyone.
A thought for all who are coming...... are there any home made implements that anyone has made to help work on/keep our cars going? This might be something to see and have explained, perhaps a table could be set up to show them off. Something I have found that works well in repairing plastics is a product called 'Q-bond'. I have repaired broken door speaker grill, and built up plastic ridge that the window switches sit in.
