Any bets on if the doors opened? Was the engine affected?

Mirrors rotated forward in order to fit it in a trailer, or from the force of the hit?

Hope you're ok, that's a nasty, solid, hit.

Ricky, I hope you are OK, that is a nasty hit. I don't think it is going to buff out.

I'm ok, still recovering
Engine looked fine, only radiator and distributer caps are gone.
Force from crash made mirrors like that. Breaks my heart seeing the car like that..
The way that car was built saved my life, so damn f*cking strong!

Holy guacamole! That looks very painful!

For both the car AND the driver.

Look at the bright side: you are still able to post

What did you hit- a giant redwood?

These are incredibly strong cars and often enable the occupants to walk away relatively unscathed from such impacts- ask me how I know!

Sad to see another one bite the dust but at least it died doing what is was designed to do and also protected its owner- that is as good a way to go as any in my books.

Regards

Fred

Incredible that despite such a direct head on collision, the windshield appears to be intact. Very sorry for your loss but glad you're ok. Hope you get back on the horse.
