Holiday Inn - rooms available
I contacted Holiday Inn to see whether they were full. It turns out that we had just exceeded our block of 25 rooms, but they still have plenty of space left. So, I had them block out some additional rooms at our group rate of $69.
It looks like we're going to have a great turnout for Frenzy this year. If you haven't registered yet, now would be the time!

'Recruiting' at Katies Cars and Coffee
Last Saturday was a beautiful morning with a huge turnout at Katies*. Along with 100+ uber-exotics (from a '29 Bentley racer to a '13 McLaren, Veyron, etc) More importantly there were a few 928's. Brett will be @ Frenzy with his red S4 (good to meet you, Brett. I look forward to talking more at Frenzy).
I also met a guy named Alex who has a couple of 928's among other Porsches. He wasn't aware of Frenzy! Imagine that. He's going to try to make it as well.
There was also a dark blue over Classic Gray '93 GTS 5 speed with 29k on the clock. I couldn't seem to interest the owner of this car in coming to Frenzy. Like many of the local folk$ who pick a car from their paddock and show up, it's apparently one of many cars that he has. Must be nice.
Anyway, I hope to get to another Katies before 9.28 to raise a little more awareness amongst 928 folks. Anyone in the DC/MD/VA area who wants to join me, shoot me a PM! (Fraggle, I'm sure I'll be seeing you there one of these weekends...let me know if you plan to go).
For those of you who are local to the Great Falls VA area who aren't aware of Katies, you don't know what you're missing!

..on another note, this year's Frenzy shirt design is getting squared away. Going on the theme from 4 years ago.

We're thinking of doing something that we haven't done in quite a while - or maybe even ever: feature the glorious ***-end of the 928:
This will also be the first time in many years that an earlier generation Shark will be featured. It's about time.
