WTB reasonable $$ Fuel pump (Leeroy)
I'd like to find anyone here with a 3rd or 4th Fuel pump that they can part with for reasonable funds. I say 3rd or 4th as I wouldn't want to take your second. You never know when you'll need it.
This is for Leeroy.

You have a point if the ones you describe were real. Have you ordered one? They are not the original pump, the shape, or the same body. They are about half the size, and are intended for much less fuel flow.
Sometimes, at a lower price point, a used original piece is better than what you may find as a knock off.
I could buy a new real one for alot of $$ I guess. That's still an option.

I have one of those (Chinese) pumps as an extra. I also have a good working one out of my gold car. Take your choice. I can have it in LA by Tuesday for mailing or pick up for Leeroy . If you want me to mail it, It will be USPS (on you), but the pump is free for the cause.

If yours is a CIS car, then the chinese ones on ebay will work just fine. I just used one to wake up a 77 Mercedes Benz 350SLC that was sat for 10 years. I would not rely on it to last as long as a BOSCH OE pump but they'll work as a short term measure.

I have a pump now from MJ, but the discussion of the chinese ones is interesting. CIS is HIGHER pressure - so I am surprised it would work at all.

. This is the real OEM Bosch pump. Only a little under $100 for a new pump is a steal. I am cheap so I like to pass on a good deal when I can.

I used a cheap ebay job for years with no complaint. I did eventually swap it out for a Bosch that I got on Amazon. I don't think that I really needed to though.
