Default John Hunter - 928 Lover - RIP

Dang I hate life some days - John Hunter a good friend, customer and 928 owner passed today after a very quick battle with Cancer that in this case he did not win.
The DFW group had the opportunity to spend some time with John and his family at a dinner at Bone Daddies a few short days ago.
My (our) thoughts go out to his good lady Karen and his daughter Samantha (spelling?).
Laura and the 928sRus team are devastated at this news and will post some more positive information shortly - sharing some special moments.

John rest in peace my friend!!! Drive your 928 like you stole it and miss those clouds as they can hold you back.

**** **** ****!!!!!

I should have spent more time with John - who made the rules that say you have to go so quickly.

This blows, John was a super nice guy and always willing to lend a hand and very enjoyable to talk to.

Roger:

Sorry for this loss to you, yours, and John's family.

Tough to see when you are so close, but sometimes it is a blessing when people "pass" quickly.....cancer can be so awful.

To say I am shocked by the news of John’s passing is the understatement of the century. I am so sad to hear that he is gone and we just had dinner with him Friday before last and he enjoyed a great big ol’ Steak at Bone Daddy’s and I’m pretty sure he was flirting with the waitresses.

It is so great to be part of such a wonderful group in DFW that so many came out and shared dinner with John and his wife which turned out to be John’s Last 928 GTG. It was a good one. I am so glad that John got to see just a short 9 days ago how many thought so much of him and cared. I don’t know if it’s appropriate or not because I don’t do anything but make the reservations and post the invites, but I personally want to thank everyone that came out to show their love and support to John and his wife and daughter that night.

We were all so lucky to have known John and that he was a part of the 928 Family.

Attached is a short clip John’s wife Karen sent me which she made of John at last year’s Third Coast. http://s287999742.e-shop.info/online...24281%2429.MOV

Life is short. Hug the ones you love.

God Bless and RIP. A quick exit with cancer is a good way versus a long exit.
