So when my wife asks how much I have in parts in the garage, pretty soon I'll be telling the truth when I say, A million dollars.....

I picked up my OEM 92810604203 for $770.00 direct from Porsche last year. I think I did well.

I hope Pete (El Greco) still has my core. I'll send it out for a rebuild with new end tanks...

I like it -- the moderately priced stuff goes through the roof -- while
the ridiculous -- is now just a little less ridiculous.

You guess that Behr told Porsche that there were not going to be any more radiators?

I'm guessing that very few of the 928 vehicles currently owned are in the hands of their final owners....the days of owning a $10,000 Porsche 928 are quickly coming to an end.....the writing is "on the wall".

Take a quick look at how many 356SC's were made.....and then try to find one.....at any price.

This is what is going to happen with the GTS 928s.

That NOS 928 radiator I scored off eBay listed as a 944 unit for $200 a couple of years ago was a hell of an investement. It's still in the original BEHR packaging

Has a "4th Reich" appeared and no one told me?

Old Adolf is starting look to look timid compared to those **** type increases and I thought the worthless green back was doing comparitively well against the even more worthless Euro and heaven help my fellow Blightly based Brits who have a double dip worthless pound.

If I were Mark I think I would be looking to purchase every cheapo 928 I can lay my hands on, take them out of circulation for a while and wait for the price to skyrocket. Probably much easier than what he is laboriously doing currently.

At this rate I'll have to work until I am 120 to be able to retire!

Now where did i put that razor blade??

Any one know where that island is that Tom Hanks was stranded on?

Regards

Fred

Yep you are right, not much fun international parts shopping when you are Sterling based.

I wonder how reliable the €600 aftermarket radiators are? (vs the £1400 real one)

Wow. 20-50% of my 928's value is in the Radiator I bought 4 years ago.
