Thanks for all the coaching folks!. A bittersweet day to see the 928S head on down the road. However, what a good feeling to see it go to someone that enjoys 928s as much as Harvey928. Even though I love my new rig, I strongly suspect that I will regret the day that I got rid of the 928. As you know, there are few touring cars that can touch it in class, style, and engineering even today.

In appreciation for everyone's coaching, I will do as was suggested and make a nice donation to Make-a-wish foundation. It will be the amount I expect that they would've ended up with anyway if I would've donated the car and it got auctioned off. This way, however, everyone wins and another classic Porsche goes into the hands of a real enthusiast. Thanks 928ers and thanks Harvey928.

Here's a couple of last day shots. One with her younger sister' and another as she leaves for North Carolina.

What a coincidence. Apparently eastern Washington is not a good place to sell a 928. I've been trying to sell mine for 4 months. Who wouldn't buy a $4500 straight body 928 S4. Any bites? I'll drive it to you!!

I donated my Lexus ES250. I forgot the foundation, it was something Oprah was shilling at the time. At that time, you could just declare an estimated value for taxes. Now, you need to have a written appraisal if the value is over a certain amount (I think $5k).

Of course, you can certainly be liberal with the appraisal. After all, the gov't is certainly liberal with the way they grab my hard-earned income, and spend it on useless crap (don't even get me started on that topic....).
