Great question!
The max is 60 days, but that doesn't fit into the schedule.
The plan is to fulfill this project (when successful) so that project backers can have their rewards before/during the Holidays.
Also thinking foward, we want full production launch to start the beginning of 2014.
Thanks!

60 days will allow people to save up money to donate a higher dollar amount, but your looking for time oh well.

I do apologize if I've disappointed you.
On the bright side, there are other ways to contribute to the future success of this modern Phone Dial!

I've entered my pledge.
For others that expressed enthusiasm: time to ante up.

I come back from working in the garage to find we're already a third of the way to our goal! I'm astonished and grateful.
Let's keep up the momentum!
Huge thanks for the custom-finished pledge, Dave! Kevin Michael will make them look super nice for ya.
What are thinkin' of doin' if I may ask?
Thanks John! ...luck and prayer will get us there.

Not.
I haven't settled on anything yet. I really like my polished and otherwise raw, untreated Fikse's. They submit nicely to metal polish and I don't have to worry about clear coat getting compromised. On the other hand they don't look as good on average as a clear-coated wheel that's regularly cleaned.
What I really like is black chrome. But, I'm not sure if that would look good on Amazon Green.
In general I'm really intrigued by the cross-over application of higher-technology solutions to more-mundane things. For instance the use PVD to coat wheels:

Burning Brakes
I would strike a balance that does not over-emphasize the wheel or the paint itself on the wheel, but then again, I may not be as daring as you gents...
