Default More unconnected wiring...identify if you can please

Hi All
Back to removing/restoring wiring today from the PO and his endless trail of wiring insanity.
This red and white wire are cut and leading nowhere, don't think they are factory but they might be i suppose, they are coming from the yellow pin connector(lower right).

Help identifying would be great,thanks!

Have a couple of other wiring questions which i'll post after figuring this one out.

Cheers,

I can't tell from the pic, but which specific plug socket terminals are these two wires emanating from ? Just give physical location (ie right side 2nd up from the bottom).

Sorry tried to get a clear pic...red wire goes to the bottom right, white goes to the one directly above that.
So third one down for the white, fourth one down for the red...right side as you see it in the pic..

Thanks!

My guess - that is coming from plug V, terminals 5 and 6, and are the wires for the power radio antenna.

If the power antenna still works, it may have been rewired to feeds from a replacement headunit.

[Edit - Simon has it in his post below. So, not this is not for the antenna after all.]

Yes, you are likely right - comes off the same terminals as the antenna wires but is indicated to have a 2 pin connector, as shown in the photo.

This is not a complete answer, but the white and red wires are what usually go to power the amp. Whether they are coming from the correct area is a separate question.

So original factory wiring...could be either the power antenna(yes mine has power from another source)...or it could be to the factory amp...no longer with the car. Both of those make sense to me, I'm gonna secure the ends and tuck it neatly away.

Thanks Fellas!

On to my next wiring question...

So i'm looking to restore the wiring to both the cigarette lighter and the analog clock.
I have two groupings of unconnected wiring, one on the drivers side, one on the passenger side.

So here are two pics, pretty sure the wires i'm looking for are here, just don't know which is which. The grouping on the passenger side has a ground wire with a small ground connector which fits nicely on the clock...but don't know which is the other one, or which group are for the cigarette lighter.
First pic is passenger side, second is drivers side.

All help much appreciated!

Cheers,

Do you have the WSM wiring diagrams? They are not perfect, but are right more than 50% of the time.

black with blue stripe is interior lighting. One is for the clock, the other for the light in the cigarette lighter.
The baclk w/ yellow stripe is for the cigarette lighter.
Red is power for the clock most likely.

BC i do have the WSM wiring diagrams...the problem i am encountering is distinguishing between what is original..what has been added and what has been spliced into the original wiring..i have already pulled a large beer box full of wiring from this car for added alarm/stereo/speakers/remote start/remote door locks /radar and god knows what else.

Colin..thanks...helps alot.

Cheers
