Default A Class Act

Just a thanks to Greg and Mary Brown for rebuilding my son's 82 5 speed gear box! Greg and Mary were extremely fair with their pricing allowing my 16 year old son to afford the rebuild out of his summer work money. He couldn't have got his car back on the road without their help and I can't thank them enough for their kindness and generousity! Also, if you need to ship a tranny, use Uship.com. It was $130 each way from Texas to Cali, over $300 cheaper than FedEx, UPS. Greg told about these guys. Now if I can just get ahold of the PO who destroyed the gear box, flywheel and clutch......:grr

Correct unlike some shops which only patch up the gear box reuse far too many "good used" parts and never get it back to working like it really should Greg understands the wear items and makes them right. The early Porsche syncros are not really that bad a design (the licensing fees from many other car companies was a big source of revenue in the early years) but if that it all that gets replaced it probably is not going to shift all that well.
