Common Roger Doger, BUY IT!!!! You KNOW that you just want us to confirm to you to get it, sounds better than the OB you got from Kalifornia a few yrs ago for $5k right?? And I kept looking at that one for several months wondering why someone hadn't snatched it up.

Do you already have an OB with HellBlau Metallic & Cork interior?? If not, then you NEED one! I mean its got a Roger Box and the original window sticker, you Can't go wrong! Course you might wanna ask for some interior pics to ensure it looks like the rest of the car. Gooooooo For it! When she asks when did you get that one??, you reply, "Oh I've Had that One"! Just don't say for how long!

from the e-bay ad.
"Trivia for those who are interested: a blue Porsche 928 like this one was seen in the old movie, "Scarface" and more recently in "Cars". In "Cars" it was named Sally. "

"Sally" in CARS was not a 928. and I thought the Scarface 928 was silver.

I think we need to start a donation pool to buy this great example and keep it in the community.
I can donate $50 to get it into Rogers collection.

Buying this car would be a very good thing to do. I think I am getting ill, my stomach is churning and I am starting to sweat.

also an interesting observation - it looks like it has power seats. When did Porsche start putting them in the 928? The early cars do not have them. Wonder if it was a dealer installed option?

hmm Jim - which one are you looking at? There are 2 of that color, both 79, on ebay. One is a 5 speed in rough shape, but otherwise looks identical to the nice autobox Roger posted. That one looks like it doesn't need much at all to be finished. A tweak of the seats and a couple of electrical issues (probably solved by doing a CE panel R&R). Both are priced low.
