Default Front seat headroom

So ok, I am pretty sure someone already posted this question and I could not find it so I apologize.
I have trouble fitting into my 93 GTS with a sunroof. I'm not even that tall 5-11.5. But my head keeps hittin the headliner.
Question is, can the seats be lowered besides the electric controls?
Or do I have other seat options?
I really love this car, but the headroom thing is killing me!

Check this thread. The seat rails can be moved back, which also nets a small headroom increase.

I am 6' 4" and I took out the power seats and replaced them with manual version and gained lots of room. That would be your next step if the smaller corrections don't get it done for you.
Good luck.

I just found some stock manual seats from another 928. Easy bolt-in fix.

It may sound odd, but I found that (12-way) lumbar seats help with headroom.

Better lower back support keeps my head back farther, away from the headliner.

Gives us a heads up, er down on the results.

Manual seats made a big difference, but early manual seats don't have seat belt connection on the seat/rail, its on the tunnel, so going into later car with seat belt attachment on the rail you need to fabricate a new mounting scheme.

As soon as I move them Ill post here how it all worked out.
Two of my kids are graduating this week so it's kind of a tight schedule, but I really want to get around to trying!

I moved the seats in my '82 to the last holes on the weekend. Where had they been all my life thought I! 6'4"

Had this not worked it would have been manuals from a 944 which the local gurus assure me would help.

I had never really noticed it looked so! But the SUV is dark blue. Guess the picture makes it look black.
Would've been nice though. A black ML63 sure would look menacing.
