Default Calgary '14: Who's considering this already??

I am..a bunch of us at Spring Fling discussed it.

We already considered that a meetup of the various trains of 928's in Salt Lake City would capture the South pretty well (Socal to FL) and maybe as far north as Iowa on over. Could likely also capture us in Mid California as well...

Could be an epic train on I15 north from there.

Could catch most of the rest of the USA attendees in Butte, MT, again on I15.

The PacNW..would be a stretch perhaps to get them over that far East before going North.

But wouldn't be a helluva thing to see 100 928s in line at Customs.

Now's the time to start planning up for Calgary '14!

I know a couple of folks who will be there

100 928s @ the border......now that would make a picture to treasure!

You think? I thought the point was to go over the mountains, not around them...

Actually there are some great drives north/south through Idaho and western Montana, maybe meet somewhere there?

It would, but they would run out of handcuffs and it would take forever. ...

What will be my biggest problem? Being a non OCIC member or customs.

Kitty and I will have it on our calendar - as soon as a date is set!!!

Long drive, and too many straight roads once we get to Ohio, but I'll manage to find some fun ones between there and Lake Louise!!

Jim..with enough free time, Iowa's on the way as well, for a proper Pork Tenderloin.
