Here's a photo with the center caps installed on the front wheels.. I flattened the dome of the cap and removed approx. .250" for a perfect fit.
Also, my 928 is carrying the new bundle of joy. A bouncing baby LSD!

What year is the LSD out of?
'83-'84 are 8-disk, which, AFAIK, will fit '85-up, too.
Looks like a '85-up, 4-disk, by the size of the holes on the sides.

Looks awesome. Please put the clear front bra on there now, while its perfect. I remember when mine looked that good. My biggest regret was not installing the clear bra. The front of the 928 just loves to collect stone chips. !!!

Mike, for your carpet I think if you go over it with touch up spray it will really brighten it up. I used black fabric and carpet spray from Dupont. Since it is black going over black it is really easy to do. It made my carpet look new again. I can tell yours is faded just like mine when compared to the seats. Everthing else looks very very good. Congradulations.

When my car gets a wrap next month, I am planning on doing from the front bumper about 1/3 the way up the hood. Thats where all my current chips are.

I spoke with user Joe Joe about carpet paint. It's on my short list. He used a product from SEM. Where did you find the Dupont product, and how much per can? How many cans did you need vs. area covered? I got the new drivers side tie-rod assembly installed last night. Made a huge difference. Now tonight I will hit the Delrin bushings kit if time permits. I'm driving to Mammoth tomorrow. I am hesitant to apply a clear bra in fear of altering it's look in any way. I spent an hour last night just staring at it.. How much cash can I expect to part with for a nose and 1/3 hood clear bra?

Cost wise I`m thinking $300-$400. It is barely perceptable on the car. It is glossy just like the paint. I am also having the painted portion of the mirrors done. That is another area thats a chip magnet.

I would go with the SEM product because I just used their clear coat and know the quality of their stuff. For me I just used the cheap stuff from Advance auto. The thing is you are only giving it a slight dusting so you can do the whole interior with 1/2 can. Here is a sample pic.

Mike, are you -really- taking your new 928 paint to Mammoth in April? Roads there tend to still be be covered with winter cinders, so you'll get it blasted whenever you are less than 200 ft behind another car north of Bishop. I drove mine up there a couple times in summer when I still had a house there, and it was more than I had in mind between dirt and crud on the road. Fortunately had the real bra on it, and was able to wash it a couple times while I was there. Fortunately the winter cinders were pretty much gone when I was there in mid to late summer. Still took a couple days of cleaning to get the car OK again after I got it back down the hill. I stuck a Subaru wagon in a friend's hanger at the airport after that, and flew in.
