Default Mason of 928 WorldWide visits Nurburgring

Mason has been traveling in Europe

Ring had to be closed due to the removal of the offending apendage

I was there Sunday too. That ***** (no pun intended) caused us to sit around for 1 1/2 hours waiting for it to dry. When we finally hit the track, it looked like it had speed dry all over it. That track - a roller coaster only YOU drive. What a blast...

(Me and my friend "ringing" out his new Porsche. For an SUV, it hauls!)

I'd love to blast around the Nurburgring some day, but I've heard somewhere that there are police that patrol it to write speeding tickets....

No speed limit. You buy your laps, they put it on a speed-pass card, pull up to the track, swipe your card and you're on the track and it's as fast as you wanna go. No tech inspection--nothing. BMW M5s if you want to be a passenger, or you can rent cars. I did see a guy get a ticket for wrecking his Skyline (they took pics, etc.) I would hate to call the insurance company after wrecking there...

Damn funny thanks for the laugh.

Enjoy the warm weather

When I was there last year someone had died the day before at that same corner, be careful out there.

I'm surprised they tolerate all the graffiti on the track surface.

1) Is there some sort of "Tag Artist Happy Hour" when the track is closed so people can go out and deface it? Not sure I'd be out painting an apex when Sabine could come through at any moment.

2) Seems to me the graffiti (paint? chalk? ??) might be more slippery?
