Great idea!

Early cars and GTS's look best without rub strips. GT's/S4's look better with them IMO.

Wow, looks great. Much better then I would have imagined.

This is a great option for those desiring the rub strip delete, but who are not in a position for a full repaint/hole filling body work job.
