I had a great time for my first attendance at a PCA event!
Regarding results...
I won first place and Dennis came in 2nd.
He picked up my award trophy as I had to return the next day for work.
All in all a great time!

Well we made it back home safely despite really heavy rain and highway flooding on Thursday, glad I had the under tray and Alternator vent hose installed
Please post some pic's from the tail end of the Parade week, wishing we could have stayed longer
Here's some more from the P-Parade event at the Hotel, Including the first public viewing of the 2014 911 50 year car, next stop is an auto show in Germany where it will be presented to the public.
Also the first 911 (1964) from the Seinfeld collection, Carbon fiber wheels (15k for the set on a mat white vinyl wrap car and Dennis's '82 in the parking lot, I think he was trying to figure out a way to swap wheels w/ the it
Thanks goes out to Jim and his dad for extending the invite to us out at the lake cabin, we had a great time getting together w/ everyone.
Dave and Kristine

Dave, Kristine and all the 928r's
Had a great time with all of You. And thanks Jim and your Dad for a real nice afternoon at the cabin.
Also Dave, I will bring the "luger" to Hell for Your inspection. Put another 2100 miles on the U-Boat getting back home. At this pace I should have a 100,000 miles on it by fall. Heading to Grand Junction, Co. get together on Tuesday, anybody going?

I didnt make the parade but caught lotsa pcars leaving as I arrived. A special thanks to Kurt for a great time at the Cherry Festival and Styx concert. Glad you found your way back to your seat. Cancelled the Search and Rescue team. Lotta fun over the weekend. Parking lot stalking was cool too. How'd you like the 2nd gear launch afterwards. My shark did me proud lots compliments and she didnt break down. What more can you ask for.

Thanks to Jim for his warm welcome and coordinating off and on all week. He would have been the lone shark in the parade until Victor and I showed up. I hope my squeaky brakes didn't offend too many... I'm really not accustomed to using them. Rumor has it the parade will be in Indiana in 2015 and I will planning on going to the front end events.
Victor, I'm glad your girlfriend was okay hanging out at Hooters for lunch. Ironically, the only two meals I had while in Traverse City both were at Hooters. It was fun sitting there watching all the P cars go by.
And now for the photos... wish I would have grabbed a few more pictures.. especially of the 928 people
Stop enroute at my Aunt & Uncles for a night on the farm... notice cats in rafter eyeing shiny red object:
After a awesome breakfast and cleaning off the paw prints, ready to roll north:
Two sharks crashing the party:
These old dogs still know how to rock and roll!
Airshow at night was pretty cool:
30+ years ago I remember being scared to death skiing down what now looks like a bunny hill. Unfortunately Awful Awful is is awful bad shape... Sadly, Sugarloaf has been out of business for a number of years:
I hear people still climb to the top on there own... this is reminiscent of a few of my first runs:
After 30 years (he was shorter than me back then), it was was really fun catching up with an old friend from Culver Naval Academy and seeing his boat at the Grand Traverse Yacht Club:
He had just completed a race 36 hour from Milwaukee to Ludington the day/night before crewing Kokomo (a former Beach Boy's Mereck Schock 55 footer)
Pit stop on the way home for the much needed antidote to the Grand Illusion:
Oh look, it finally stopped raining so I can go clean all the bug carnage off the Shark. If you made it this far, I Hope you enjoyed the pictures and commentary.
