Nice!

Are those CF horn buttons operational?

Who did the cover work?

That would look perfect in my GTS.

Here is mine...
With 1.5 inch Quick Release to get the right distance from levers...
Other wise my fingers touch them.

Randy, the carbon fiber tabs are just thumb rests, not operational for the horn. Recover by Paul Champagne. As you can see his work is beyond excellent.

I have this same wheel, I like what you did with the porsche badge. I had been thinking about something along the same lines but perhaps covering the momo logo.

This pic off Paul's website [url]http://www.designpaulchampagne.com/928Steering.html[url] ... showing just how well the Momo fits the 928 cockpit.

Paul's talent makes an original wheel hard to beat though too after he works his magic on them.

I have only had one drive with my new OEM sport wheel so far, I can tell you that it is awesome. Not only the looks but the feel is just as good.

wow, I think I want one of these steering wheels! Mine is original with cracking at the top and have started to consider a kit to recover until I saw this thread on the Momo Runner. Ralph

Got a Fittipaldi "personal", very similar to some of the three spoke Momo's, from 928 International. In terms of driving pleasure, darn near up there with new MM's. On second thought, maybe even better. I would simply not do long distance drives with that weird stock steering device.

What does one look for for figment of a replacement wheel?

For my 78....I want to look from cheap to unaffordable....hub size, bolt pattern, wheel diameter? What are the specifics?

Thanks!

That's my Momo Club 4 (4-spoke). That model is NLA.

I think mine is the same. I found it on e-bay a few years ago. Installed with the hub adapter and a Porsche horn button. I like the thicker feel of the wheel.

Yes. Nice find. I popped out the shiny trim ring and painted it semi-gloss black.

Default Steering wheel replacement with working horn?

Anyone have any experience/advice on this RacCarParts.com aftermarket steering wheel for a 1980 928 (5 speed)?
The ad says the horn is functional .
And they recommend the Hub.

You probably dont want the deep dish wheel.
I have a similar wheel MOMO and its flat.

NOTE with the dish your gonna have the wheel to close to you,
and too far away from the turn switch lever.
