I do understand the need sometimes but I really hate to see threads like this and hopefully in the end things will get worked out. Most people have enough stress in their lives and Rennlist should be a place to come enjoy ourselves. I am confident and hopefull that in the end this will turn out positive for the 928, and more importantly for the well being of everyone involved. We all know some very good people that have left us in the last few years. Life's just to short for this IMHO.

James you out there are are you traveling?

My faith in the OC is deminishing by the hour - I guess they are all playing with themselves or following the lead of the "OLD" president Stan Shaw.

From the emails I received last night Stan is totally with the "FEATHER" and sees him as a "DOER".

So I guess it is confirmed that the 928 OC "BOARD" fully supports the "FEATHER" and his demeaning comments to the good folks who worked so hard to support the OC. Sad sad times.

As the 928 OC fully supports the actions and statements of the "Feather" I see no reason to continue my companies support of the 928 OC and will withdraw my offer of a 5% discount for OC members who place orders over $500 with 928sRus.

Looking forward to the next OC elections.
I am in complete agreement with Gary. I really think that you misunderstand the comments that you were copied on from the 928 OC Board forum, Roger. Or, at the very least, we interpret them differently. I have not been made aware that any board member, including Stan Shaw, endorses Jerry Feather's comments against you.

To the OC membership: I apologize, as the acting admin of the 928 OC forums, for the errors in the email list for the 928 OC Board forum. I failed to revise the email list when the board members changed. In turn, I let the entire membership down by not ensuring that your board members could discuss OC matters in private.

I do sincerely apologize.

I completely agree and thank you for the breath of reality. I don't have an axe to grind with anyone in my daily life, much less any 928 friends that I mostly communicate with via the web forums.

I am not a current 928OC member, but I know the participants in the point of contention.

Jerry- retract your statement. It isn't in Roger or Jim to lie or misreport funds. Gary Knox, another stand-up guy, has vouched for the profit/loss of the events so his veracity is being impugned as well. I don't know what your beef is, but this isn't right.

I would also like to inform the OC members that your elected board members are very trustworthy, selfless, and honorable men. I believe this as much as I believe that I am using my fingers to communicate these posts. If nothing else, they are all good men.

Don't confuse this to mean that I am picking sides. I don't see any sides to begin with. I equally have nothing but kind words to share for Roger Tyson. I do wish that he wouldn't have disclosed a board discussion, but I certainly understand his state of mind when he chose to share those conversations. Jerry Feather has been wrong, in my opinion, to suggest mishandling of OCIC revenue when the financials never supported that claim. I have no reason to think anyone on the board disagrees.

Even with that said, I don't have anything unkind to say of Jerry Feather. I have no reason to think he is not also a good man and a great volunteer of the club. My only advice to offer to him would be that maligning other OC members is unwise at any cost. Particularly when the facts don't support your claims.

Maybe we all take this a bit too seriously, sometimes.

It looks like things might be heading in a positive direction......maybe?

I sure hope so, we are all one big happy (albeit somewhat dysfunctional at times) family.

On that note, I'm closing this thread.

Assuming this event is still a go, with or without any OC involvement of any kind....... go ahead and start another thread - please keep it on topic. Time, place, events etc.... so we can avoid a copy of this thread
