It was me. The car has been fantastic. The odo works fine, but the trip odo is tricky to reset. It will eventually break and I'll fix it then. The injectors never gave me a problem, but I did replace them with the shorties from Roger a couple of months ago, and it runs well. The guy who sold it was named Ed, and he was buying an 89 GT. I still call it Blumaxx, and it has the Pour le Merite medal that came with it (cheap knock-off, but still cool).

Blumaxx is one of the nicest OB's out there. And Minerva Blue is one of the all-time best Porsche colors.

I had the pleasure of helping Ed in his acquisition of Blumaxx. Enjoyed meeting Ed (the seller) and his 89 GT. Enjoyed eventually meeting Ed (Linderpat) and making friends.

Looking forward to seeing Tony's car with Minerva blue.

He took fantastic care of your car.
I went down to VA after my car which i knew of for a long time,(very long story) and after buying mine came across Bluemaxx on CL.
I was on my way to look it over (it was running bad) and Ed didn't seem like he was telling the truth about the miles, and i passed on buying it for $3500.
The pics on CL didn't do it justice.
I really wish i took a chance on it now.
I liked Ed though and told him CL was for bottom feeders and the car would end up in the hands of an 18 year old and soon after that a junk yard and to spend the money and post it on the Registry.
Glad it found a great home, I'll read your thread tonight.
Was Ed really moving to Hawaii or was that a story?
Thanks for letting me know i wasn't crazy. You own a beautiful 928.
Ed my Wife was born in Pittsbrg, we will be attending the Vintage Grand Prix this Summer, I'd like to see Bluemaxx if you are there.

Don't know WTF that means ? Plan is not to let the current work gas out, then brush paint over the existing paint, add some adhesive type coating, add a thick layer of primer/sealer, rattle can a few coats, then throw 7-8 coats of some ultra thick clear, again do not let gas out, clear again, spray basecoat, clear again, wax, wrap with tinfoil, then wrap with vinyl to seal. How's that sound ? T

Ed, that would be a lot of fun, thank you. We'll be there.
Astrid (Wife) spent a lot of her childhood over your way.
Her Dad Bill grew up in Fredericktown. He's a car guy.
His Father, Astrid's Pap Pap was a great man and owned a General Store there.
Thanks again Ed,
Look forward to seeing pictures Tony.

Will pull from stock one of the many Dinsdale fans. Plan is to surface mount, & bond with a mix of: 20% Dow 111, 30% silly putty & 50% dum dum for permanent adhesion. Do not plan to paint this car again & that's how were rollin. To make it pop both day & night, x-large metelflake (daytime) mixed with orange transmission pearl & finely crushed dayglow sequins(nightime) for that WOW effect. Previews below T

Tony is a add pearl guy i stand corrected.
Disregard the below
if you guys lived close to one another it would have been a good idea to have the paint mixer double check the mix to Bluemaxx with the electronic eyeball doohicky.
A lot of times in my experience the code sometimes isn't enough to get it exactly right as a lot of years have passed.
When painting "from prussia with love" (911) 2 different Prussian Blue formulas came up. One very purple and one much more dark blue and hint of purple.
