Agreed. 32V, 5 speed, nice ext, fair int, only 45k miles. If you're gonna jump this would be a decent price to me. Only thing I might change is the brakes down the road and some twist wheels and fat tires.

Gotta find out what hit it, and how it was repaired. If it's salvage that would color the issue. If it's not it could all be incidental.

Providing the repairs have been done correctly I still think $10K to 12K is a very fair price.
You need eyes on it which will probably happen Sunday by the sound of it.

The hit explains why the right front guard looks lighter in colour than the rest of the car.

At the least I'd want a good look inside the front guard behind the splash shields and a measurement by an alignment tech. I'd say it also diminishes the value somewhat - by a few $k.

Yep, get someone to look at it that knows 928s. Their report will let you know the good, the bad and if there is any UGLY. If it was hit... it was probably in the rear - pretty common repair if its a low speed impact. That would explain the new red paint on the rear bumper cover plugs. Then again, maybe the whole car. The interior is in good shape - face it, its old but not faded, cracked, torn or peeling. If it tracks well at high speed, no shimmy, etc, and the maintenance is up to date then its not a bad deal at all. Since its an 85 / S3 you can upgrade the power greatly with Porken v4.0 chipset and S4 fuel pressure regulator (if it hasnt already been done) which to me is a nice "option" down the road

Let us know what happens. Good luck!

Car looks very good, I'd want to see the maint records with it.
