I would be up for driving it, depending on the dates. I could meet up with the Texas and OK crews in OKC, then caravan up. 20 or 30 928's tearing north and west across the plains all the way to AB. Wouldn't that be a sight.

We fully appreciate the OCIC 2013 event in Grand Junction may (with Witchita in 2012) and Canada in 2014 consumes many precious vacation days and funds.

Appreciate your inputs.....Malcolm

West coast, ouch. Why not somewhere in the middle so we can get more Canadians together?

But Ultimately North America is too large to accommodate everyone, and membership in the OC is very light for Canadians. There are many sharks in Ontario that are not members.

Plus the drive out west is absolutely boring for 90% of it.

Somewhere like Chicago would be with in easy reach of most Canadians and much easier for our American friends to get to.

Just my 2 cents.

Calgary is a fantastic place to host an event! I would do my best to be there. My drive from Winnipeg is a bit (actually extremely) boring but once in Alberta, the roads are great, close to the mountains, friendly people! For those of you in Texas, a little detour would get you through Wyoming and onto the Beartooth Highway - one of the most spectacular roads you can drive!

thx Alan and agreed......we'd need all who drive to make airport runs to pick up the fly ins.
And for those suffering from residual overheating, we could always do a day run up the Icefields Highway......

Now that's Photo Op!

I'd be in of course depending on dates. Something you might want to consider is the new road course opening at Castrol Race Way near the Edmonton International Airport. A 928 driving event at the new track would be awesome. It might be possible to do a jaunt to Jasper for an overnighter if people would be interested.

I would help organize the track day and probably could find a dozen or more guys to help out as instructors again if the interest is there.

I will also add that for anyone who has never been to the Calgary/Banff/Lake Louise/Jasper National Park area, in my opinion it is the most beautiful area in the North American Rocky Mountains (and I've traveled through almost all of the lower US Rockies). I've been fortunate to travel through all of that area a couple of times, and would certainly welcome another trip.

A fantastic area to take a few days or even weeks of vacation time with the family.
