Beautiful car, if Sean worked on it, it's gonna run perfect.

Beautiful car BTW!
Some of the electrical in that year was Lucas but electrical is not one of the gotcha/PITA items I found after much perusing on forums, speaking to other owners, etc. Electrical on this series is pretty much same issues as in 928's: window switches, gauges, etc.

Big difference also it seems is the "Lotus Father of Parts" is named Jeff not Roger...

The big deal on these, to compare to Torque Tube on 928 is gas tanks, yes as in plural! one on each side with balance tubes, etc. Doesnt matter which side of pump you pull up at; theres a filler cap on both! Anyway, on some the gas tanks can rust and R&R means removing engine at the same time..

Just noticed late last night that my fat fingers put the mileage on the ebay ad as 77,000 when it should have been 57,000 (approx, I do still drive it and will hit 58k soon). Will scan emissions report from the state today and post on there as proof.

Dont count me out guys! If it doesnt sell then it doesnt sell, the Z is already sold and fly to LA to pick up the Esprit next Sunday!

Hmmmmm... wonder if the license plates "007" or "Bond007" are available here in TX?

Sounds to me like a classic case of "oh yeah honey, I'm going to sell the 928" ...

More than that... Greta refused to ride in the Z, REFUSED... Mostly due to is much more "tweaked" and last time she rode in it was before I swapped back out the rear subframe which I had removed the OEM silicone filled rubber ones with urethane. Handled LIKE WOW! but ride was MUCH more harsh.. That and since Chris is buying I'll still get to drive it sometimes!

Doubting the 928 will sell for my miniumum and that is OK too.. Dont get what I want wont sell it..

In the ebay ad which I posted link to I had put the miileage in error as 77,000 when it should have been entered as 57,000. This is approx as I still drive it some. To verify below is a scan of recent Texas inspection which is from 11/01/2012 and shows that it not only passed with flying colors but also the mileage at that time was 55,646 (first column on left. If any questions let me know!

I could never sell that car for the Lotus wedge, and definitely not to keep the Z
(I do understand the bond restorations create). For me, restorations create the opposite feeling.

I usually hate the cars i restore for about a 6 month period after i finish.

As nice an S4 as I've seen, it's worth every bit what youre asking (the dollar is in free fall) but the economy isn't the strongest and being a 928 and you'll lose $ big time.
Just to start spending it on a not so new Lotus..

Well, the Esprit has impeccable records and like my 928 needs nothing.

As far as selling, see my post above:

Basically, if I dont get what I want wont sell it..
