I've never had problems with Lucas so long as no one messed with it. I have bought Jags that have been sitting for years and all bulbs worked as well as all other devices as i drove off. If messed with or altered then problems occur.
Lucas today is owned by a Chinese Co and the replacement parts are garbage.
