Not me- but you have fine taste in cars. Report back if you end up getting a Lotus. The one at the dealer looks to be in superb condition, which the only condition I would accept on one of these...

Very nice. I had been looking at some earlier Esprits before I had twin daughters and needed back seats - hence the 928. There is a good Wheeler Dealer episode where they do a decent refurbishment of an older Esprit. It would be worth watching if you can find it on line. Any significant maintenance on the Esprit seems to be a bit like a 911; i.e. step one - remove engine.
But they are very cool cars and pretty exotic for money. Good luck in your search.

A buddy of mine had either a 91 or 92. It was brutally fast and had an equally brutal ride. We joked that it didn't have a suspension, the axles were bolted directly to the body.
It was like a 928 in that it had electrical gremlins which drove him and his mechanic nuts. In the end, he kept it about a year and went back to a 911 which he then traded for a Jag XKS. He loved the speed of the Espirit but hated it's unreliableness and ride. He's in the market now for, you guessed it, another Porsche.
