no, you would fit right in and have quite a bit of good racing. much more than you have ever seen in your experience so far!

Anyone can run in NASA, just find a class to run in. A Kia Rio can run Super Unlimited if it wants to.
But lets be clear, AV8SS isnt a NASA series/class/anything.
But come on over, you'll love running AI with us, the rules actually make sense in AI.

Anyway, you are being clear about something you might not be clear about. AV8SS is a class in the NASA run group. they are running in NASA and are a class and that class will be callled AV8SS, just as AI is a class.. I dont know how much more clear I can be.

what are you talking about???? I know all about running NASA. ran with them for many years. You mean, anyone can get a NASA racing license. all you have to do is run group 4 for a while! ![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

I hear Brian read the NASA CCR, you should ask him to help you out on license requirements.

I would go over the same items on your car, that Brian discovered on his. Institutional oversights tend to be common from one group to another.
We're all always learning on this issue from each other.

Did you get an answer on your FIA license?

Lack of inspection of cage welds, especially halo.
Seems to be a universal human error condition there.
Easy to miss unless you have a good mirror, light, and set of picks to find em. But if you find bad halo welds, youll then find bad B pillar welds to door bars and harness bars, etc...and pad attachment welds..
This is the top of the welds in a -brand- new (or was) build for a brand new spec series car from last year.
Its easy to see, once the jaws cut the car apart to assist the driver getting out (he was fine, but..this should scare you a lot Mark..this is whats out there)
