Ben did mine.... Puse and Heliotrope would be closer (actually neither are close, you can't tell in the pics but they have a great pearl effect to them!), certainly not puke, and thank goodness it isn't going on your car not to mention it is doubtful you could afford my car even if I were willing to sell it you jheis. That's all for the '95 GTS...

I opted not to do the powder coat because I wanted to do it myself. I used Kustom Shop uros - 2k primer (used ~1/4 of small can), Brilliant Silver Metallic topcoat (4 oz did all), and their 2K clear (1/4 of small can).

I included a before pic to see what it looked like as I was starting a full intake refresh (thanks to Roger for hooking me up with all the correct parts!).
With respect to the before-pic, keep in mind it had 168K miles on it at this point and never had any work done to the intake prior to this so it looked pretty messy. The cross brace is still all original paint... I'm not sure why these are all hacked up in some cars.

I was a fan of painting but the silver faded. Once I had seen what Ben could do I was sold.
My intake^^^ (now)
I went with the factory clamps and hoses though.
And I wimped out on the cam covers.

I agree that the workmanship is good and the customer service was top-notch.

Like Roger said, Mark Robinson spent a whole lot of time looking for and finding all those bolts and fasteners. They are kind of the last bit of jewelry for a real top notch finished look to a cam/intake refinish. You can get them chrome (like the ones I have) or stainless steel. Looks really good either way, but if you are going for high bling like I am doing on this intake just go all out and get the chrome ones. I really like the way they look!

Indeed, from a practical sense they integrate the washer, so that'll be handy next disassembly lol.

James,
Really like how yours came out man!!

Do you have the link of the place that Mark found for all the hardware??
I"m right in line behind Roger with Ben. I'll probably go w close to factory color. Doing Intake, cam covers, waterbridge, and water neck. Colored PORSCHE 32V and PORSCHE on cam covers will give it a little more detail.
