I promise this post will have good speling. Just playing I know it's "spelling"! Haha anyway I got everything on the interior reupholstered , I do have heated seats in my s4, never tried to work it so don't know of they work. Before the new seats, both seats did work electrically. The guy said when he pulled the seat out the connector got crushed. Now that's what he told me and I kind if have a idea what he is talking about. ![Embarrassment](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/redface.gif)
Now my drivers seat dose not work at all electrically but the passenger side does. Any clue where to get this connector of some sort? I have no idea what it looks like either so please post a pic so I have a better visual ! Thanks guys

If you then carelessly drop the seat onto a bench, you can easily break the connector under the seat rail. It is the same type of connector used elsewhere, a rectangular connector with 8 or 14 pins. If you raise the seat and reach under, you can feel it (try this on the seat that works).
There is a basic principle in the professional car-repair business (and elsewhere): If you break it, you fix it. There are exceptions of course, sometimes just looking at a part will cause it to malfunction through no fault of the shop's. In this case, however, the only way to break a connector is to drop the seat on it, which is just plain careless.
So your first move ought to be back to the shop and ask them to fix it. You can give them 928 Intl's or Roger's phone# for the part(s) needed, or they can get it from Porsche. Or you can be a nice guy and buy the connector body for them, and ask them to pay for it or just eat it. Many choices, depending. But the seat will need to come out (not easy without being able to move the seat) and the connector body replaced.
Here's a pic, this is a sport seat, a standard seat (without memory) will be the same, with an 8-pin connector. A "memory seat" (with the buttons on the driver's side door panel) will have a 14-pin connector and a bunch of additional wires.

So far I'm going to manually move the seat to un-bolt it and get to work but thanks

In my limited experience, it takes some extra effort to crush the pins when he connector body is damaged. Thought: Pull the old connector apart and verify that the pins are OK, and note the ones that need to be replaced if any. Buy the plastic part, and only the pins you need if any. Take Lots Of Pictures of the connector as it is, with cover on and cover off, so you can get the pins back in the right places in the new plastic shell. Once you get the seat out again and on the bench, it will be a lot easier.
