How do i remove the transmission governor?
Hello, I cannot locate the axial holding nut to remove the transmission governor on a 1989 S4. does any one have a better picture and description that the workshop manuals?

that is the picture i saw in the manual, i don't know where that screw is. can someone please describe the location of it, is it on the passengers, drivers, front or rear of the transmission?

the screw in the picture is above the reservoir,
thats on the right hand side of the transmission just in front of the axle output shaft

What is removing the governor going to do for getting this thing to move?
By the time you get done fussing with this thing...no one is going to be able to fix it.
