Another person who claims PM support? Ok, so leedee isn't (perhaps?) quite as unbalanced as spazzmo - but I do get the feeling we're being trolled.

Yep, parts. My comments to him were along the lines of if it can be saved it should be. Since he's now offering it after such a short time we can only assume that it can't be saved, and is just parts.

Could be it comes with some extra tools, lots of Rat Chits?

I'm on the wrong coast, but as it sits, around $800, but that is not an offer, just an estimate. Sad marker of the times, 3 years ago I was happy to pay $2750 for a 84 Euro S AT that didn't start, but also wasn't totally terrible in and out.

So, the $501 will actually buy him one window motor for the Ferrari 355, and he'll have a few bucks left over for a key FOB.

That's plain douchebaggery. Pack it up.
You continue to amaze me, you just now saw this coming?

I'm an arsehole admittedly, but not just to be one.

Well said. Arseholery is not to be taken lightly. Some are made and some are born, but only a born arsehole is to be taken seriously.

Quality will out.

A lot of research has to go into each of those avatars.

Funny, after all the the threads about this car, I'm thinking it should be parted out and maybe somebody could use the roller for a Chevy swap.

Hah! there's an idea... acknowledges it needs a lot more than just an engine that way....

you guys are missing the point. I am not trying to be a douchebag. I simply do not know what it is worth. Hence, it is in my better interest not to put a price out there that would not end up be kind to me.

Then you are looking for a "feeler". Would have been better of this thread with your real intent... to find out what you car is worth.

Based on the feedback and offers already made publicly (to which you haven't yet responded)... looks like it's worth $501.

FWIW, that is the going rate for a non-runner junker 928.

not true. you guys can think as you may. I cant convince you obviously that my intentions are genuine. I am entertaining the idea of selling it. I never really wanted it. I originally bought it for parts for my 1980. Then I found out it was a euro. It was not a planned acquisition. Anyway, I got stoked.... thought to myself hell, I will give the 80 to my woman, and build the euro for myself.

If I can get a decent price for it, I will sell it. If not, then it will get restored. I am not desperate to sell the car. It just seems that with all the discussions about saving euros and such, that maybe someone would like to buy my car. If that isnt the case, then all good. I will hold on to it, and fix it as I have time. My time is divided among a bunch of cars, and my Mustang is by far the most important. Since I am now committed to finishing the 1980, since I made the mistake of already telling my woman she can have it, I dont have squat for time after the 80 and the mustang maintenance.

For some reason, anything I type on here gets misinterpreted. It is almost like some of you guys have this bizarre pack mentality. Like if you havent been on the forum for a long time, you have to earn your way in or something. Dont get me wrong, some of you guys are super cool, and really knowledgable. I may not agree with your point of view, but I definitely respect your opinions. Some others on here however, just seem to enjoy mocking people. Why is it funny, or hard to comprehend that I have a good enough job to buy a Ferrari? I dont get it.

anyway, as you wish, I wont talk about the SBC, or anything else that deems me unworthy... or wait... maybe I will. But either way, thanks to those who actually offer help to me. I appreciate it. If you ever have a mustang question, feel free to hit me up.
