For Sale: My supercharged 1985
Hello everyone
As some of you know, I have my car up for sale due to a career change next year. Not an easy decision to say the least given the amount of time, effort and $$ I have put into this car. This car runs like a champ, drivability is exactly like stock. It has made it SITM with no drama and I would be confident to take it anywhere. Asking $9k and considering the price of supercharger kits having one all done for you and completely sorted it makes it a steal. Here is all the pertinent information.
Black on black early 1985 auto (last digits of VIN are 377).
Canadian car, I am second owner.
Repainted somewhere along the line by original owner in single stage.
Interior original with a couple of small cracks in dash.
Comes with original wheels and Cup 2's (I winter store it with the manhole covers).
Maintenance done
Heads rebuilt, timing belt, water pump done by previous owner (2009) and I bought it right after it was done.
Cold compression test showed 170-180 psi on all cylinders.
Brad Penn 20w50 and no consumption issues.
Oil pan gasket, motor mounts and steering rack bushings.
Intake refreshed and painted, new cam cover gaskets.
New plugs, wires, caps and rotors.
New ISV and heater control valve.
PKlamp, both pinch bolts replaced and re torqued and crank end play measured.
AC compressor rebuilt, new dryer and flex hoses.
Transmission filter, pan gasket and refill with Dextron 6.
New differential fluid.
Performance mods
Vortech V2SQ supercharger on FAST bracket, dedicated belt with manual tensioner. Dyno results showed 370 rwhp and 344 rwtq at 6 psi. https://rennlist.com/forums/attachme...dyno-chart.pdf
AEM wideband O2 and Autometer boost gauge.
Custom EZF and LH chips and Begi FMU with stock 24 lb injectors.
Provent separator with drain back to oil pan.
Motorsports X pipe.
Momo steering wheel.
Only has a couple of small issues, interior light has a short and keeps blowing the fuse so I have left the fuse out. Cruise control and rear hatch release don't work, but I don't use them so it hasn't been a real priority.

There you go, someone can pay 9k and you will have a 9K car right away instead of working on something for 2 years and spending twice that money. Just add some floor mats and keep the fluids changed and the car looks good for the long run. Sorry to hear you are selling and hopefully the car stays in the Rennlist world.

Ted, sorry to here that you need to get rid of your car.
Why don't you bring it down to Fort McMurray and work here at the Oil Sands.
I like what I see under the hood as it looks very clean.
My car still sits and I haven't looked at it since the belt shredded.
I would have now issues with buying your car, I just cant and don't really need it at this time.
Sean, out of Edmonton, may be looking for a strong runner to put on the track.

Free Bump to an excellent deal.
FYI she almost had a new home but my wife thought I had chosen not to buy the 4-post lift. Doh! And a happy wife means a happy life.
But seriously fellas you won't find a better deal on a sorted and boosted 928.

If only.... I knew then what I know! Bought black/black 86 2 years ago for 7k, have put about 4k in parts, maintenance, no supercharger, and half your other upgrades/repairs.
Damn, no wife, but also no money....
