Check your door seal too. If you have damage to the seal at the top corner it drips directly down onto the floor.
Here's a pic of my door seal which did exactly that on my GTS before I replaced it. I couldn't see where it was coming from and checked the sunroof, hatch and even checked the bulkhead thinking it might be running back. I finally found it when I had someone hose the outside while I sat there ... and when parked level it dripped directly to the floor without hitting anything else.
Seems obvious when you look at it, but I thought I'd see water running down via somewhere else, and it only leaked when parked.
Worth checking that your sunroof drains work as well by slowly pouring a glass of water into each corner and confirm that it runs out of the drains on each side of the hatch channel, and behind the front wheel well liners (two front and two rear drain points).

another big leak is the drain on the firewall under the hood....can't remember which side, but when it gets filled up with leaves, it drips.....its under the airbox somewhere

2" ! Better check the whole right rear side carefully (under the rear seat?), there a big leak somewhere. I found the best way to trace leaks is with a flash light at night.

My 928 is parked right now awaiting a new radiator and for me to chase down some strange electrical issues. I moved it over the weekend to give it a good bath and could hear water sloshing about either in the passenger door or in the roof! I suspect it's in the roof as that's the most logical place for Murphy to invoke his law. If it is then the sunroof seal is probably the culprit. (I've had concerns about it for awhile.)

One way to find potential leak areas is to put strips of paper around the openings & close the hatch (or door). If you can pull the paper without much effort, it's not sealing well. An old bodyman showed me this, makes sense.

FWIW if you have a sunroof and the car is dark colored,
there is a drip tray bolted to the rear of the sunroof sliding panel,
this plastic tray cracks from the heat and will let the water go into other parts of the roof.
Sun Roof removal is the only way to fix this part

If you got leaks behind the front passenger seat, you may want to remove the rear seats and check for water under the seat cushions. Every 928 I've dealt with that spends any time outside seems to collect water under the rear seat cushions.

Sunroof seals are there to cut down on wind noise, not to keep water out. The strategy is to channel the water to the body drains that pass to the gutters at the rear hatch opening. A bit of heavy weedwacker string is OK for clearing junk from the drain ports if they atr plugged.
