Care to post an update on how things have gone? I placed an order with PPM about a month ago with a 6 week ETA. I've also been getting very infrequent communication from them on the delivery. Fortunately I did use paypal so I can issue a claim if needed but I'd like to know if I'm dealing with a quality company or not.

Got one email I mentioned at post #27 on 12th and nothing at all after it. They must be carving them by hand with blunt piece of wood.

I'll post back when/if my parts arrive. Its a stroker kit for a BMW, I was told it would be done in 6 weeks from September 15th.

Errka ... let me know the details of what's been promised and I'll light a fire if necessary .... the squeaky wheel usually gets the oil.

Thats what I got in email on 12th, nothing since then. I have very little faith on getting anything from them. Even with communication problems package would have arrived in one week. At this point best result would be if they would return money and we could order rods from elsewhere.

I just sent over an e-mail asking for a real update with the threat that I may be issuing a dispute with paypal soon, It's been just over 6 weeks which is what he told me it would take.

FWIW I went through about 5 emails back and forth with him yesterday afternoon, things sounded promising. Said he was on a business trip and that my stuff is ready and should be shipped out this week.

Don't panic i know PPM and i have deal with them many times over the 10 years!

As you said it is a custom order and custom orders take longer then you think as the raw material is ordered in special for the job.

I am sure there is a reasonable explanation for this issue.
Thomas travels lot as he is involved in research and development for special performance engine parts and he works together with lot of racing teams.

I know they had issues with USA raw material supplier 5 months ago and some orders where delayed due to this problem as we had also ordered parts and our order was also delayed. This can happen, Also i know that they get lot of phone call and email a day and sometimes they don't answer the phone and get the answering machine take a massage as they would newer get any work done otherwise! But if you leave a massage they always call back.

As i said don't panic i am 100% sure it will all sorted. Thomas is a very honest guy and in the 10 years of our dealings he newer did something wrong and he always done the right thing! I know many guys that did business with PPM will say the same thing.

Good to hear positive outcomes. I stil haven't heard anything since 12th of November when order was "nearly finish". Week ago I asked them to send money back. No response at all.

I will go pick up some of our orders on Monday and will talk to them about this matter.
