Manhole rims

I reinstalled my manholes a few weeks back for a track day and have kept them on since. I do like the comfort they provide. They are chrome and right front leaks a little air which I find annoying. Any suggestions as to where to get them rechromed in Seattle area?

Not a huge fan of them taken by themselves, but on the car only the manholes and phone dials look right on the 928 to me. Anything else stands out in a way I don't like.
Plus I personally like paying for wide 16" rubber a lot more than wide 17" or bigger. (my jeeps and trucks are stupid expensive for very average rubber.)

Having wider rear tires because it looks "Kool" is juvenile. -so is wanting to expose your expensive fancy rotors and/or calipers. I also snickered at the cars that used to have badges (mostly GM) that said EFI, or whatever the latest gidgey gadget they stuck on the engine. We really don't care if you have chromed roller tappets or hydraulic toilet plungers inside.

Cheapest with manholes is to find a set the way you want them and buy them, preferably with a good set of tires you like already mounted. Restoring the original anodizing runs around $700 a set. Chrome is not recommended by Porsche on any of their wheels. I don't think its good to rechrome, maybe better to start with a factory finish and have it chromed if you really want chrome. Bare aluminum shines up pretty well and with a clearcoat isn't too back to keep nice.

Al Reed Polishing here in Anaheim CA can get it done, though I'd think that any significant sized city with any industrial base would have an anodizing company local to them.

Great looking car. Love the wheels and finish, always have when they are in pristine condition.

They are ...
Jet951 here on Rennlist (professional Porsche mechanic - Sydney here in Oz) has re-anodised ones on his car, and I believe gets them done for customers.
To re-anodise they have to be chemically etched to get rid of the very hard anodised original finish, then polished to get a flawless finish, then re-anodised ... which is why it's not cheap.
Here's a couple of pics of one on his car, that I saved from some time back, because I was so impressed with the finish and look.

My original set was the silver, but someone thought that a harsh aluminum spray cleaner was a good idea. I couldn't pollish out the run stains, so I platidip'd them, the plastidip finish is good and durable, cleans up easy.
but like danglerb says, I found a set of S4 "chrome" wheels with new tires on flebay for about the cost of the tires.
