+100 on the color combo. I love the light interiors on 928s. Very nice!
And you're local to a few other 928s, myself included. Hope to see you at Frenzy (assuming I make it there myself).

I will do my utmost to get it to Frenzy...
12 year old timing belt needs to be replaced this weekend. PO felt comfortable driving on belt with less than 8000 miles on it. UPS/USPS/FedEx Ground should be leaving goodies today, tomorrow and Friday including a flywheel lock tool (until now my flywheel lock tool was big pair of vice grips clenching the ring gear/flywheel or a prybar), porkensioner, T-Belt, WP, accessory belts, rad hoses and some fuel line.
Hoping that a 1/2 drive breaker bar, a cheater pipe and a 6 point 27 mm impact socket will break the crank bolt loose. (Remind me that whatever the temptation, NEVER use an air gun on a crank bolt).
What size bolts do I need for the flywheel tool 6mm? 8mm? 20 or 25mm long?

You can use the clutch slave bolts for the lock (autos need a longer bolt than what is used for the aluminum cover plate).
The slave is a bit tricky to get out, unbolt the bracket which holds the hard line to the pan, first.
FWIW, you don't need the lock on a 5-speed. Put it in 5th, set the e-brake, and block the wheels. Much less hassle.
May want to delete that from your order.
It's only 218 ftlbs.
A S3 puts out (well over) 300 crank torque.

Hope you remembered to request your OC discount!
:Lots of folks around might be able to help with the work, but if your into that solo bonding thing coming out of the gate, I'm sure we get that too.
;-)
In either case I should have the printed S3 t-belt 'manual'/narrative around somewhere if you want it.

We all love pictures and progress reports so keep us posted.
Please pay extra attention to the old belt and post pictures. I'm just curious as to it's condition (cracks, pliability, set to pulleys, etc.) after that amount of time with few miles.
BTW, awesome care.
If you never drive in city traffic you are good to go. If you do, now exercise the same diligence searching for another just like it but with an auto.
