Joseph, my sincere condolences to you and your family.
Although I did not know your father in person, like many I have read and followed plenty of his posts. Some say that the mark of a man is the care he shows for others: your father showed more than beyond a huge amount and then some also here.

I am so sorry. He was a wonderful forum member and always very helpful. It is sad when such unique, precious people are lost. He will live on in our memories.

Dan was such an intelligent guy. I've followed his posts for years and have gained so much from his insights. His presence here will be sorely missed. My sincerest condolences go out to you and yours.

Sorry for your loss. Dan was always very helpful and he helped a lot of people keeping their cars running. His contributions will always stay here and will help other people in the future.

I, like so many others are so sorry to hear of your father's passing. He was a long time member of our "internet community", and a very valuable contributor with all his knowledge and creative ways of doing things. He will certainly be missed by us all, and we are hopeful that whoever purchases the cars and equipment will use them as well and as interestingly as Dan did.
Thank you for posting the sad news, as we knew Dan was dealing with this serious and ultimately deadly issue over the past couple of months.
