New to me '87 928S4
All, at the advice of a fellow forum member, Mako 928, whom I met today at Hitec in San Rafael, where my new to me 1987 928S4 is getting some love (TB, WP, AC Service, brake lines, etc), I thought I'd post a quick picture of my shark.
Details: Diamond Blue Metallic, Blue leather interior, original Reno radio (doesn't work), books and mostly complete service history. Purchased here in Northern California.
I'm the second owner, bought it on consignment from the original owner who put 125k miles on it since buying it in mid 1987, having it cared for by the dealer thoughtout it's life (stamped maintenance book). It's in great shape and, after some regular maintenance, will be a great ride. I had a 944 previously, so I'm not new to Porsches, just ones with engines this big.
More pictures once I have it back in my possession with new rubber (Potenza RE-11 front and rear on stock 16s). And, by the way, though it looks like the rear quarter panel is wrinkled, it's not, just a photo reflection.

For now it will be stock 16s with new Bridgestone Potenza RE-11s (fitted tomorrow). But I will be looking for another wheel set that can have all seasons for the wet and chillier Fall/Winter months here in Northern California.

However, not sure what it was listed for when you saw it, but, like most classic car shops, the asking price was inflated. I worked with them and the owner to get it down to a reasonable number, given all the regular maintenance it needed right away.
