I'll be at the Giants game. The car is back in the shop fixing what they screwed up on it last time. They are already laying the ground work to hit me with another big bill saying that its "coincidental". Absolute bull$hit. I'll be looking for another mechanic after this go around if I dont just throw the towel in and sell the thing.

I've used Protosport for my 911 and they are good. However, I didn't think they had any experience with 928's. I'd be happy to be proven wrong since they are conveniently located.

Nick it was nice meeting you yesterday although for some reason I feel we have already met. I guess the rest of you were at the Giants game enjoying this wonderful weather which I can't blame you. Maybe we can work out one of the next events where we all show up and park together.
It was a nice day for a gathering although I am I bummed missed the Maserati Birdcage which I saw leaving as I arrived. It is nice to see more 928's at these gatherings. I have been a member of C&C since the beginning and have seen many Porsche's but for the longest my 928 was the only one. When we first started the gatherings we would discuss a different model each week and I did a presentation on the 928 which gets its fair share of respect amongst all these varying cars.
I wish I could convince more 928 owners to join NNJR-PCA as a 30+ year member an avid DE, Autocross, Concours person not to mention Social chair for the region I think you guys would find some of our events interesting. We are shy on 928 participants and I encourage everyone to join. Our Concours program has reached a new level and there are many classes addressing paint issues that are not as difficult to correct as one might think. You might even get lucky and have someone work out the paint problems on your car for free.
lets keep in touch and try to add some 928 presence to the next C & C.
BTW as far as Protosport goes I used them for years and never considered them for my 928 only to find they are as knowledgeable about the model as they are any other. I have been completely happy with their work on my 911's, 928 and cayenne. I always recommend showing up and discussing the car with them prior to having any service done. Both Paul and John are quite knowledgeable and very helpful I am quite confident you won't be disappointed.

Have fun on your trip, hope the weather holds out for you.
Saturdays work better for me. If we can get more to chime in maybe we can set up a meeting place or date.
