Default Cars and Croissants NJ Sept 9

Very last minute stuff...

Looks like the weather will be nice so I'm thinking of heading to Car and Croissants at the Parsippany Hilton tomorrow. Any NJ/NY people interested in meeting there?

We had caffeine and carbureters in town today. One red 928 in the mix and a black S4 at the shop.

I did end up going. Great variety of cars including a Carrera GT, BMW M1, Tesla, and a beautiful 1962 Maserati 3500GT. Mine was the only 928 there and it received several compliments.

I will be attending this again soon. Really nice, high-end collection of cars. I met two other shark guys there, our cars were very well received. One guy driving a beautiful 356 came over and went on about how the 928 was his first Porsche.

I went to one last year when it was in Chatam, great turnout of cars of all kinds of makes, including an Enzo. Hope to get to one again this fall.

Cars and Croissants sounds like something a bunch of Prius owners would attend.

So, in a roundabout way are you saying you don't like flaky, warm, buttery croissants? Inconceivable.

Anyway, whatver it's called, there's always a good turnout of very interesting cars. They could call it "fluffy bunnies" for all I care.

Exactly! Could care less what it's called. Any idea when the next one is? Now that fall is near I would like to check it out but only when the Giants are away.

Here are the remaining dates for this:

• Sat, Sep 22
• Sun, Oct 7
• Sat, Oct 20
• Sun, Nov 4
• Sat, Nov 17
• Sun, Dec 2
• Sat, Dec 15

I'm thinking about going this Saturday, the 22nd. I've got the same issues as GDG, can't be wasting those Giants tix.

They've been switching off between two venues, Chatham High School and the Hilton in Parsippany. I hope they settle there.

The leader of this group usually sends out an email a couple days before. I'll updated the thread when I know for sure where it is.

I can't make the one this weekend since I'll be riding in the MS100 Bike Tour to raise money for the National MS Society. If anyone wants to contribute, let me know and I'll send a link for donations.

This year, this event has special meaning for me since my niece was recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis.

They have moved the event this weekend from Saturday to Sunday, 8:30 AM at Chatham High School. On the fence about going.
