This car has been well discussed here already. It has been checked by a rennlister and it is pretty rough. It would probably be a nice platform to build a track car.

Might not be the same one. I think the one discussed before was in the San Fernando Valley somewhere. I might be wrong, or it might be been moved, or it might be a different car.

It's the same car they've just posted the ad in any surrounding cities for like 300 miles to try to sell it.

I like the color and also love the 88s4.

Thanks for posting.

IIRC somebody did look at it, maybe a month ago? They posted pictures of the runs and drips in the repaint. Have been looking for the thread for several minutes but can't seem to find the right keyword combo.

Yeah, I did some searching too, and couldn't find any info so I posted.

Great color combo. I read through the fine print and the car is in Panorama City, CA, which is near the crotch of where I-5 and 405 are bridged by the 118.

It has what looks to be a military/DoD installation sticker in the lower part of the driver's side windshield.

Could be Port Hueneme or Pt Mugu. Maybe Pendelton.

Thanks JB. I'm gonna call the lot tomorrow and make a deal. I just got a fresh infusion of cash.

SRSLY? I wouldn't take this thing, if they paid me. It needs a complete respray badly - that's $10 right there (perhaps a little less in TX). New dash, new front seat covers, and who-knows-what... $20k away from being a $10k car.

Really? I'd like to paint for you, if that's your price point.

I have a painter who can save that respray for less than $500. Sure, it won't be concours but it'll pass for what I want. The front seats are $300 for new covers, and if I find other mech stuff, I'll work through it. So, yes, seriously I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse. It will not go at $3k.

I've wanted a Cassisrot S4 for about 6 years, and don't want to pay top dollar. Sounds like a match made in heaven.
