Done - easy as can be, especially when you have the CIS ZenMaster himself (Jadz928) at your side while doing the job! Thank you Jim.
Also, Jim checked the timing, and it is dead on in spec. The car definitely needed new injectors (thanks Rog - used the MB shorties), and I could feel the difference immediately.![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
No real gotchas, as my engine bay is still pretty fresh, so things came apart rather easily. Used PB blaster this morning, let soak until this evening, and everything just came out, no issues. Then the injectors on the rubber bushings just pushed right out of the sleeves while working them on the bench.
One trick on reassembly was that we put a tiny bit of dishsoap on the outside surface of new rubber bushings to get them to slide more easily into the brass sleeves. The order putting them back together was slide the rubber bushing onto the long end of the injector with dimple side up, towards the hex head of the injector (dry - no lubricant). once that is seated, add a bit of dish soap to the outer surface of the rubber bushing them slide it over the brass sleeve and push the hex head of the injector thru the opening of the sleeve. The tricky part is aligning the hex head with the hex hole on the sleeve. That's it; just reinstall and do not over tighten the fittings on the hard fuel lines. Power up the fuel pump, check for leaks, and you are good to go.
