Boy, if a list for wheelwell liners is being made, please put me down for two sets of GTS liners.

Even 500, plus ONE of anyone else, is going to keep me very very busy.
I'll let everyone know Sunday just how close I am with this most recent form modification.

Unfortunatly the right rear is all that is available from Porsche at the moment

Danny, I think I know how you feel about these GTS WW LIners since I have thought I have seen the light a couple of times only to have it go out. I still have a glimmer of it now and will hope it brightens this weekend for me and maybe some of the rest of you or all of you for that matter.
I hate to have the list go from 500 to only 499 and a Brazillian. What you might consider for the interim, Danny, whatever that might amount to, is some S4 type of splash guards in lieu of the complete liners which might give you enough protection until I can get my **** together.
Even if you had gotten some when you "had a chance" I think you would have gotten a left for the GT and a right for the GTS.
Don't give up hope yet.

Jerry,
As I'm sure you know, now that you have a GTS4 in the stable, it is the Left Side that we all need most of all, as that one protects the LSD on those cars that have it - 90 or is it 91-95.
Good luck with the "light", I know you've been searching for it.
Cheers,
Gary Knox

1. The earlier cars do not have the same shape of air intake openings above the radiator as the S4 and later cars, or maybe even the S3s?
2. From the standpoint of "induction drag" Jim's design does nothing to help the air flow foreward of the radiator or other coolers.
3. The front edge of the top of the radiator needs to be trimmed down to allow for the better flow of air.
4. The rubber tube across the front of the radiator top needs to be relocated both to clear under the new devise and to have a different kind of connection at the top of the radiator tank.
5. Something different needs to be done along the top of the air direction devise both in respect to the crossover of the openings and to the air seal that goes along the top of the radiator shroud for the underside of the hood. I expect to reverse the seal in my design. Jerry Feather

2. My design never was to improve the air flow, only to help isolate the radiator heat from the intake air.
3. True, sort of; the top edge is trimmed down to allow the inlet shroud to sit level and low enough to meet the factory openings.
4. True, I simply moved the rubber tube to the space occupied by the steel gap filler on the S4/GTS. I also put a small aluminum tube elbow at the radiator outlet.
5. On my design I simply followed the line off the original inlet openings. The air seal is in its origional location and attached exactly as in its original factory design. It still seals like the factory seal because it is the factory seal.

Well, nothing so far, at least from or by me. I never did see what it was that Herman came up with. Myself, I haven't yet solved the issue of how many different version of this item would be needed, given the different configurations of the top of the radiator fan shroud (at least two) and I don't know how many different configurations there are of the stuff in front of the radiator.
In spite of the lack of need for anything about this to enhance the air flow over the top of the radiator and condenser and/or coolers, as pointed out by Jim M., I feel the need to extend the front of this item forward and down a bit in a curved fashion to enhance the flow of air from in front of the radiator into the flow director's openings. To do that I need to spend some time looking at over 26,000 928 pictures in the Picture thread to see what I can learn about the different configurations in front. That takes quite a bit of time.
When all of that is done I still need to figure out how to make a form or several forms so that the devise can actually be made in multiples, and I will know how many different forms will need to be made.
The other issues I mentioned before still need to be resolved about the plumbing and the modification of the top of the radiator, which, from previous experience, most guys are not going to want to do; so, like with the flush center console project, this one may likely end up with too small a market to make it worth while.
