Who else would like to see Jerry offer a cover to go over the top of the radiator like Jim M has? I'll bet it would be almost as popular as the cowl covers.
Could someone who knows what I'm talking about post up a picture?

I have to agree with Speedtoys. 500 S4 owners and about 100 GTS owners are still waiting.
On another note Jerry did look at my radiator cover at OCIC and said it could be done quite easily. He took several pictures and has given it some thought. It would require several different versions depending on if the car has the upper oil cooler or not and the type of small return line on the LH side. Mine is made of fiberglass so is uneffected by the heat. I don't know if the plastic Jerry uses could take the heat.
But again, WHEEL WELL LINERS FIRST, please, please, please.

Does it have the "Do It Yourself" manual transmission, or the superior "Fully Equipped by Porsche" Automatic Transmission?

Speedtoys and the others are right, and I am concentrating right now on the WW Liners for the GTS and the close-to-follow GT/S4 versions and then even later, hopefully, the earlier cars.
I found that the big push I tried to make before OCIC to have maybe a set ready, kind of put some other stuff off, both here at home and at the office, so, since the convention I have been playing catch-up. I do plan this weekend to see if the last changes I made in the outer form, two weekends ago, will accomplish the final exact fit. I missed any time on the liners last weekend because I had to work on two all day trials that I has scheduled for monday and tuesday.
I have seen and pictured Jim M's air director and have actually even bought some material and tooling to consider some developmemt on my own of what might be required for someething like this for more, or any of the cars. There are several considerations that must be taken into account in any further development of something like this, such as the following:
1. The earlier cars do not have the same shape of air intake openings above the radiator as the S4 and later cars, or maybe even the S3s?
2. From the standpoint of "induction drag" Jim's design does nothing to help the air flow foreward of the radiator or other coolers.
3. The front edge of the top of the radiator needs to be trimmed down to allow for the better flow of air.
4. The rubber tube across the front of the radiator top needs to be relocated both to clear under the new devise and to have a different kind of connection at the top of the radiator tank.
5. Something different needs to be done along the top of the air direction devise both in respect to the crossover of the openings and to the air seal that goes along the top of the radiator shroud for the underside of the hood. I expect to reverse the seal in my design.
I haven't heard of Herman's design, and I too will be interested in seeing what he has come up with. Herman is very creative and his design will deserve a lot of consideration.
Before I launch any effort on this project I will be well into production of the wheel well liners and I will also be probably producing my own version of the S4 and later front spoilers, which is actually next on my BIG list.

I have to admit that I would love one of these on my s3. My wheel liners are in good shape luckly enough for me and my cowel cover is in excellent shape. I am pulling for you Jerry. You are a go getter from way back.
Good luck

Over a year ago I inherited the molds that Jim used for his design that most people have seen pictures of by now.
I worked on some partial proto-types with different materials and showed them at some of the GTG.
I’m now working on the completion of the final version which I will first run by Jim for his review before posting pictures.
Are you going to be at the Dallas GTG on the 1st we’re driving to Austin after the GTG and will be spending the weekend at Lake Travis
