Seems pretty ominous to me. If this is a matter where someone is counting down there time, I wouldn't put Rennlist on the top of my priorities.
I'll simply PRAY for the OP as I don't know him and whatever his troubles might be that they are far less than his (and his family's) blessings.

I am sure everyone is curious and I am sure those of you that know him best are extremely worried. Please let's not disrespect anyone that may be having a hard time right now by turning this thread into a fight.

Look, I apologize for appearing to be insensitive to Dan's situation.
Over the years we have dealt with things like this, and will deal with more of them as the longtime community members continue to age.
Reading between the lines I think we can all come to the conclusion that Dan is involved in a terminal illness and will not be with us much longer.
This thread is an example of how not to deal with this type of situation.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Dan and his family during this difficult time.
