I have not seen the car. and it has a little mileage but the price is low enough.

This could be a good deal for someone.
You can't buy these cheap enough to flip, that's for sure. For fix and drive, you might actually fall into that "less than $10k away from a $7k" car class, rather than only a $5k car when done. Profits realised in smiles and driving enjoyment.

Mine was 4k. But it drove away. This one has more issues than mine had.

Hey, I bought my 83s with 170k miles on it. I told my son that we were just going to go for a test drive. I had a new mustang GT at the time (94). After the test drive, I bought it on the spot and put 200k more on it over the next 9 years. Best money I have ever spent. These cars love to be driven. I would not let the milage deter me. That being said, little things started to break and give way after say 230 or so. Everything has a life expectancy.
Good luck. Please report back what you find out after seeing it.

200K+ miles is not a problem. All the kinks should be worked out by now. If I hadn't let someone mess with my perfectly good transmission at 230K miles, I would have no problems at 245K miles on the original motor and drivetrain, including the torque tube. Like Frank said, these car like to be driven.
